This was us!

Every runner in Philadelphia has to do the Rocky steps, right? We did them 4 times with some pushups and other torture mixed in, plus another fast six miles along a great path in the city. Twas a fun morning!

We also dropped in an Easter service at a very pretty cathedral nearby. It was surprisingly empty for Easter day. Maybe everyone was going to the later service?

Then we met up with the girls for a farewell meal at their local diner. We ate omelets and watched everyone in their small hometown come and say hello to everyone else. It made me miss Brentwood (my small hometown in Tennessee) where a similar sort of Sunday would occur.

Then we drove back to our (current) hometown, DC! Thanks for a great weekend, Philadelphia!
